Pastor Sam Crosby has been married to his wife, Jan, since 1985. They have four grown daughters and 12 grandchildren. They were both raised in Gatesville, Texas, and both graduated from Gatesville High School. Sam received his undergraduate from Baylor University and a Master of Divinity from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth, Texas. He is presently working on a Doctor of Ministry from Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Kansas City. He pastored four churches prior to coming to Trinity: Osage Baptist Church, First Baptist Church, Lometa, TX; First Baptist Church, Paducah, TX; and First Baptist Church, San Saba, TX. He has served in the ministry since 1985. Sam is from a family of 13 siblings, many of whom now serve or have served in ministry roles.
Jody has been serving Trinity Baptist Church as the Director of Youth Ministry since June 2021. Jody has been married for 22 years to his wife Karie and spent many years supporting and working with her in children’s ministry. They have three children, Josh, Nate, and Hannah.
Jody graduated from The University of Texas in 1998 with a Doctor of Pharmacy degree. He has spent the last 24 years working as a clinical pharmacist and pharmacy director. Outside of the world of medicine, Jody has been active in children’s and youth ministry for over 15 years. He was ordained as a deacon at Trinity Baptist Church in 2016 and is a member of the church’s praise and worship team.
Karie has been the Director of Children's Ministry at Trinity since August of 2015. She and her husband, Jody, have been members at Trinity for the last 12 years. They have been married for 22 years and have three children, Josh, Nate and Hannah.
Karie graduated from Southwestern College (now Arizona Christian University) in 1996 with a B.S. in Elementary Education. She has over 26 years of experience working with children in the classroom and ministry.
My name is Kyla Brown, I have been married to Tanner Brown for 10 years and we have four children- Fynlee (9), Waden (7), Weston (5) and Konlee (2). I attended Jonesboro ISD growing up and graduated from College at Angelo State University. We moved away and moved back to Gatesville when Weston was 1. Prior to working at Trinity I stayed at home with my children and had a boutique. I love children and I love the ministry and love we can provide here at the preschool. I want to continue growing this program and make it the absolute best that it can be!
Dena has been with Trinity for over 30 years and accepted the secretary position in 2022.Both her and her husband Jerry faithfully serve our church in a multitude of ways.
Dena graduated from Oglesby High School and attended CTC. She retired from TDCJ after 32 years of service. She and Jerry have 4 children and 6 grandchildren that continue to bring them endless joy.
Dana became our church financial secretary in 2023. She retired from Gatesville ISD in 2020 after 23 years as the Payroll Supervisor.
She was born and raised in Gatesville. Her and husband of 40 years have two sons and two grandsons.
Daniel has been at Trinity for 15years and is blessed with the gift of music; he has been leading worship music for over 12 years.
He came to Gatesville in 2008 and married his wife Alison, in August 2021. Daniel completed nursing school in 2022 and enjoys running marathons and triathlons and is currently training for his 2nd IronMan.
