Pastor Sam Crosby has been married to his wife, Jan, since 1985. They have four grown daughters and 12 grandchildren. They were both raised in Gatesville, Texas, and both graduated from Gatesville High School. Sam received his undergraduate from Baylor University and a Master of Divinity from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth, Texas. He received his Doctor of Ministry from Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Kansas City in December of 2024. He pastored four churches prior to coming to Trinity: Osage Baptist Church, First Baptist Church, Lometa, TX; First Baptist Church, Paducah, TX; and First Baptist Church, San Saba, TX. He has served in the ministry since 1985. Sam is from a family of 13 siblings, many of whom now serve or have served in ministry roles.

Sarah has been our Children's Director since 2024, and she is doing amazing!

[Sarah]  I was born in Odessa, TX and lived there for 2 years before moving to Gatesville where I was raised. I was homeschooled all the way through and graduated high school in 2005. I trained horses for the public until I met and married my husband Floyd in December of 2006. I am a homeschool mom of 5. We have 2 biological sons and 2 adopted. We have been attending Trinity since December of 2022, and have served as Sunday school teacher, helper in the kids ministry and was able to open a foster closet to serve the needs of foster families in our community. Aside from spending time with my family, I greatly enjoy riding horses, photography and traveling.

From schedules to crafts to events to lessons, she is a gift, and we are grateful she is serving our children's ministry! We are excited to see how the Lord will bless both TBC and Sarah as she continues to excel in this role.

We are so thankful to have Adam Baker as our interim youth minister here at Trinity! He began his interim in January of 2026. Adam is a local from Gatesville and has 3 boys: Kyle, Jacob, and Cameron.

Adam has worked with youth off and on for years, including being on staff at Eastwood Baptist and for Texas youth commission at a residential treatment center. Adam has such a heart for ministry and discipleship, including going on overseas mission trips and leading a men's Life Group. His love for the youth has been displayed through his Bible studies, planning of youth camp, and his building intentional relationships with the youth. 

Ms. Tinnie (Christina Saunders) was born in Gatesville and attended Gatesville High School. She began working as the Trinity Baptist Preschool Director in 2024. She has worked for the TBP for almost 15 years, serving in different capacities! She loves to teach, and loves being at the preschool with the sweet children. She has been married to Blake Saunders since 2008. They have four children: Kagan, Brayden, Tyler, and Wacey. Their family enjoys going to the lake, camping, fishing, and going to the beach. She has done a wonderful job in her role as TBP director! 

Greta is a gift to our church. Not only does she play our piano, she also coordinates all our music. She is a native Gatesvillian and has blessed Trinity for over 20yrs. She graduated from Texas Tech and she and her husband Ezequiel have been married for 20years and have 6 children. Ezequiel has been serving as pastor for 6 years at Iglesia Hispana De Gatesville church and Greta also plays the piano there as well. We are so blessed to have them both!

Daniel has been at Trinity for 15 years and is blessed with the gift of music! He has been leading worship music for over 12 years. You can oftentimes find him playing worship music at conferences and events in the area. Daniel also leads the young adult Bible Study class on Sunday mornings. 

He came to Gatesville in 2008 and married his wife Alison, in August 2021. Daniel completed nursing school at Baylor in 2022. Daniel loves to stay active, running marathons, triathlons, and Ironman races. 

Dena has been with Trinity for over 30 years and accepted the secretary position in 2022.Both her and her husband Jerry faithfully serve our church in a multitude of ways. 

Dena graduated from Oglesby High School and attended CTC. She retired from TDCJ after 32 years of service. She and Jerry have 4 children and 6 grandchildren that continue to bring them endless joy.

Amanda Long became our financial secretary in 2024, and has done a wonderful job! She is a joy to have in the office with her spunky comebacks and energy. Amanda is married to Zach, and they have 2 amazing girls: Aubree and Olivia. 

Amanda got her bachelors degree from Texas A&M, and is currently working on a Master's degree for accounting. They have been attending Trinity since the fall of 2023. 

Ruth is a joy. She is local to Gatesville and graduated from Boyce College in 2023 with a bachelor in Youth and Family Ministry. Ruth is musically inclined and has a lovely singing voice and can play multiple instruments including the piano and the guitar. She serves as our Ministry Assistant, coordinating Life Groups, helping with women's ministry, and helping with communications. On Wednesdays she assists in Chapel with our TBC Preschool. She has been a blessing to our church!
